HS Football: Vikings, Spartans tied atop Super 7 poll

There’s a tie atop the T102 Sports Now Super 7 High School Football Poll entering Week 2.
North Schuylkill’s impressive win over Mount Carmel moved the Spartans into a first-place tie with preseason No. 1 Williams Valley atop the poll, which is selected by the WPPA and T-102 play-by-play broadcasters and the T102 Sports Now writers.
The Vikings, who blasted Upper Dauphin 54-0, earned three first-place votes and finished with 32 points. The Spartans garnered the other two first-place votes and also compiled 32 points.
Schuylkill Haven remained at No. 3 with 26 points, while Blue Mountain jumped to No. 4. Pottsville, Minersville and Tri-Valley round out this week’s poll.
