Minersville 2, Williams Valley 0

TOWER CITY — Bella Rizzardi made six saves for a clean sheet as Minersville downed Williams Valley on Tuesday in a Schuylkill League Division II match.

Jenna Cullen’s unassisted goal in the 19th minute gave the Miners (8-1-2, 4-0-1 D-II) a 1-0 lead at halftime. Hope Motuk, assisted by Kloee Horoschak, added an insurance goal in the 49th minute.

Megan Perhach made 10 saves for the Vikings (5-5, 3-2).

Blue Mountain 7, Shenandoah Valley 0

SHENANDOAH — Lexi Waschko and Hailey Scheuer scored two goals apiece as Blue Mountain defeated Shenandoah Valley in a Division I match.

Reegan Spangler, Gianna Chipriano and Caitlyn McGhee added single goals for the Eagles (6-1, 6-0 D-I), who led 5-0 at halftime. Kiera Nunemacher had one assist.

Karley Koch notched the shutout in goal without having to make a save against the Blue Devils (3-5, 1-5).

Pottsville 3, Pine Grove 0

PINE GROVE — Megan Goodman and Gracie Weiss scored goals just 46 seconds apart to power Pottsville to a Division I victory over Pine Grove.

After Goodman made it 1-0 at 29:12, Weiss, assisted by Teagan Hart, connected at 29:58. Pottsville (5-4, 5-1 D-I) led 2-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Riley Davis, assisted by Jes Siminitus, netted a goal at 62:24 to put the match out of reach.

Pottsville outshot Pine Grove 11-2. Julie Stock made two saves to earn the shutout for the Crimson Tide. Alyssa Moyer made eight saves for Pine Grove (3-4-1, 3-3).

Tamaqua 8, Marian 0

TAMAQUA — Shaylee Gormley had three goals and one assist to lead Tamaqua past Marian in a Division I match.

Katie Fredericks added two goals and two assists for the Blue Raiders (4-4, 2-4 D-I). Gabby Chistakoff, Sophia Sitlinger and Evelyn Leinbach scored single goals for Tamaqua, which led 5-0 at halftime. Chistakoff and Sitlinger posted one assist apiece as well.

Ceanna Gormley made one save to earn the shutout in goal for Tamaqua. Katie Knock made 13 saves for Marian (1-7, 0-6).
