MINERSVILLE — Minersville delivered another complete performance.
Chase Zimerofsky paced the Battlin’ Miners with a team-high 21 points as Minersville rolled past Danville 69-42 in a non-league boys’ basketball game Saturday afternoon at the Thomas Fitzpatrick Gymnasium.
The Miners set the tone early, racing out to an 18-8 first-quarter lead before blowing the game open with a 24-point second quarter. Crisp ball movement, strong perimeter shooting and disciplined defense allowed Minersville to seize a commanding 42-20 halftime advantage.
