HS Boys’ Wrestling: Schuylkill Haven edges Tamaqua

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Niko Carestia and Triston Davis posted back-to-back wins down the stretch to lift Schuylkill Haven to a 33-27 victory over Tamaqua on Friday in a non-league boys’ wrestling dual meet.
Carestia, back in action after a serious injury shortened his football season, pinned Dylan Garcia in 55 seconds of their 215-pound bout.
Davis, wrestling at 285, followed with a 4-3 decision over William Behun to clinch the win for the Hurricanes (2-2).
Rylan Reitz (127) and Francis Hill (145) won by fall for Tamaqua (0-8). Troy Hartman (172) added a 9-3 decison over Kyle Javorka for the Blue Raiders.
