Tuesday’s girls’ volleyball results

Panther Valley 3, Lourdes 0

LANSFORD — Jessica Hackash had nine kills, three blocks and three aces to help Panther Valley sweep Lourdes 25-8, 25-5, 25-6 on Tuesday in a Schuylkill League Division I match.

JaeLynn Browdy added seven kills and 13 assists; Caroline Breslin tallied five kills, eight digs and two aces; and Morgan Orsulak compiled five kills, two assists, two aces and five digs for the Panthers (6-0, 5-0 D-I). Lourdes dropped to 1-7 overall, 0-4 in Division I.

Panther Valley won JV 2-0.

Tri-Valley 3, Williams Valley 0

HEGINS — Liv Lupole had 11 kills, eight service points, six digs and one ace to lead Tri-Valley past Williams Valley 25-5, 5-6, 25-16 in a Division II match.

Emma Moore added four kills, while Aubrianna Zimmerman tallied six service points, two aces and two kills for the Bulldogs (6-0, 5-0 D-II). Williams Valley dropped to 3-2 overall, 3-2 in the division.

Tri-Valley won JV 2-0.

Pine Grove 3, Pottsville 1

PINE GROVE — Lily Flynn had 16 kills, five blocks and four aces to power Pine Grove past Pottsville 25-16, 17-25, 25-18, 25-22 in a Division I battle.

Molly Drumheller added 20 digs and three assists and one ace; and Addison Daubert chipped in 15 assists, six digs and one ace for the Cardinals (5-1, 4-1 D-I).

For Pottsville (4-3, 4-1), Ava Schwartz led the way with 16 kills, three aces and two digs. Megan Yost added 34 assists, six digs, two kills and two aces; and Anna Burke notched 11 kills, four blocks and four aces.

Pine Grove won JV 2-0.

Blue Mountain 3, Mahanoy Area 0

MAHANOY CITY — Jaedyn Bartholomew smacked 18 kills and made five blocks as Blue Mountain defeated Mahanoy Area 25-12, 25-15, 25-11 in a Division I match.

Zoe Leibensperger added six kills, while Bella Grasso notched 30 assists and 10 digs for the Eagles (5-2, 3-2 D-I).

For Mahanoy Area (3-4, 1-4), Hailey Mroczka had three kills; Yehlina Reyes made 15 digs; and Naomi Kowalick chipped in three kills and three blocks.

Mahanoy Area won JV 2-0.

North Schuylkill 3, Tamaqua 0

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS — Brigid Flynn had 12 kills, four digs and one ace as North Schuylkill swept Tamaqua 25-19, 25-18, 25-14 in a Division I match.

Also for the Spartans (2-3, 2-3 D-I), Kyla Carado added seven kills and three blocks; Lauren Powis contributed seven aces, four digs and two kills; and Aubrey Krevinas chipped in six kills and three digs.

For Tamaqua (4-4, 1-4), Leah Black had 17 digs, six kills and three aces; Millie Black added seven kills and nine digs; Madison Schock notched 16 assists and 10 digs; Alivia Woodring made nine digs; and Isadora Neifert hit three kills.

North Schuylkill won JV 2-0.

Nativity 3, Minersville 0

POTTSVILLE — Addisan Rickard had 22 assists, two kills and two aces to spark Nativity past Minersville 25-15, 25-12, 25-11 in Division II action.

Madison Purcell added eight kills and four aces, while Janelle Ziegmont hit seven kills for Nativity (3-4, 3-2 D-II).

For Minersville (1-7, 1-4), Caty Ilsley had five kills; Eva Ladick made six digs; and Arielle Boyer chipped in two aces and three digs.

Nativity won JV 2-0.

Marian 3, Schuylkill Haven 0

HOMETOWN — Kali Grochowski had seven kills, four aces and two digs to lead Marian past Schuylkill Haven 25-8, 25-7, 25-8 in a Division II match.

Maddy Davis added six aces; Alena Lombardo notched six kills and one solo block; and Eris Hayes contributed three aces, nine assists and two digs.

Marian won JV 2-0.

Shenandoah Valley 3, Weatherly 0

SHENANDOAH — Ava Antz compiled 10 kills, nine service points, four aces and three digs to power Shenandoah Valley to a Division II sweep of Weatherly, 25-12, 25-7, 25-13.

Brittany Tufts added 13 assists, 18 service points, four digs and two aces, while Giana Troutman notched four service points and two digs for the Blue Devils (3-4, 2-3 D-II).

For Weatherly (0-6, 0-5), Abigail Binder had six digs and three blocks; Kelly Reiner made 16 digs and two kills; and Abby Weston hit three kills.
