Thursday’s girls’ volleyball results

Blue Mountain 3, Pine Grove 0

ORWIGSBURG — Jaedyn Bartholomew racked up nine kills, 14 digs, five blocks and two aces to lead Blue Mountain past Pine Grove 25-11, 25-16, 25-22 on Thursday in a Schuylkill League Division I girls’ volleyball match.

Piper Reinhart added five kills, three digs and two blocks, while Zoe Leibensperger chipped in eight kills and three digs for the Eagles (6-2, 4-2 D-I).

For Pine Grove (5-2, 4-2), Molly Drumheller had 10 digs; Lily Flynn contributed nine kills, one ace, one block and one dig; and Payton Harris notched 11 assists, four digs and one ace.

Blue Mountain won JV 2-1.

Pottsville 3, North Schuylkill 0

POTTSVILLE — Rhyan Brennan had 10 kills, five digs and one block, and Anna Burke tallied nine kills, six blocks and five aces to lead Pottsville past North Schuylkill 25-13, 25-13, 25-12 in a Division I match.

Olivia Pacovsky added three kills and three aces for the Crimson Tide (5-3, 5-1 D-I).

For the Spartans (2-4, 2-4), Brigid Flynn made 14 digs; Kyla Carado hit eight kills; and Raven Marlow had 12 assists and nine digs.

Pottsville won JV 2-0.

Mahanoy Area 3, Lourdes 0

SHAMOKIN — Hailey Mrozcka compiled five aces, three kills and eight digs as Mahanoy Area defeated Lourdes 25-21, 25-13, 25-19 in a Division I match.

Naomi Kowalick added four aces, five kills and two blocks, while Emma Manley hit six kills for the Golden Bears (4-4, 2-4 D-I).

Bella Cherry led Lourdes (1-8, 0-6) with eight kills and three aces. Sophia Padula dished out five assists, and Bella Hudick had three aces and four digs.

Mahanoy Area won JV 2-0.

Tri-Valley 3, Schuylkill Haven 0

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Grace Line made 13 digs for Schuylkill Haven in a 25-8, 25-12, 25-9 loss to Tri-Valley in a Division II match.

Lydia Hartz added four assists and two digs, while Danice Snyder had two kills and four digs for the Hurricanes (2-5, 2-4 D-II).

Tri-Valley improved to 7-0 overall, 5-0 in Division II.

Tri-Valley won JV 2-0.

Marian 3, Minersville 0

MINERSVILLE — Lara Cancio hit 14 aces and two kills to spark Marian past Minersville 25-12, 25-8, 25-5 in a Division II match.

Kali Grochowski added nine kills and six aces, while Joelle Currie contributed 14 assists and four aces for the Fillies (5-2, 5-1 D-II).

For the Miners (1-8, 1-5), Aliyah Webster had three aces and five digs; Caty Ilsley made four digs; and Isabella Balance chipped in three assists and two digs.

Marian won JV 2-0.

Nativity 3, Weatherly 0

WEATHERLY — Finley McNamara belted nine aces and five kills to power Nativity to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-20 victory over Weatherly in Division II action.

Maddie Purcell notched five kills and three aces, while Addisan Ricard contributed three kills and 15 assists for Nativity (4-4, 4-2 D-II).

Abby Weston paced the Wreckers (0-7, 0-6) with four service points, three aces and one kill. Jillian Esposito added three service points and 11 digs, and Mya Binder made six digs.

Williams Valley 3, Shenandoah Valley 1

TOWER CITY — Emma Reinoehl had five kills, 20 assists, two aces and six digs as Williams Valley topped Shenandoah Valley 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-14 in a Division II match.

Also for the Vikings (4-2, 4-2 D-II), Emily Miller notched three assists, four aces and 14 digs; Hayley Fenlason added six kills, four blocks and three digs; and Gabrielle Duprez compiled eight kills, two blocks, six aces and 10 digs.

Shenandoah Valley dropped to 3-5, 2-4 in Division II.

Williams Valley won JV 2-1.
